MANAGER, WEB STORE DEPLOYMENT

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Web store Deployment Manger is responsible for taking client content, images, graphic design files and developing them into fully functioning web stores. This position is responsible for ecommerce website deployment, and maintenance of all aspects. Ability to implement large number of web stores on a SaaS platform, recruit, develop and manage a deployment and support team, create a collaborative, team-oriented environment, deployment processes and measureable performance matrices for the department. Authoring clear and concise documentation of all of the above will be necessary which mandates the use of excellent presentation and communication skills. Proficiency in developing deployment optimization processes, work flow management and following industry best practices is critical. Also, experience with ecommerce in the online travel space is preferred. This position requires a minimum 3 to 5 years' professional experience in developing and deploying large scale websites. Hands-on experience with all of the following key technologies and tools are preferred:

The Web Store Deployment Manager is responsible for successful deployment of Vacation Storebuilder (VSB) powered web stores for the vacation rental industry. The person in this hands-on role will measure success by the ability to deploy web stores on time and within budget in the most efficient way possible. The Web Store Deployment Specialist should be easy to work with yet tenacious in communicating and driving setup and content management teams to implement tasks as part of the setup process. A solid understanding of debugging & testing experience is expected. An awareness of application programming interfaces, payment processing and application of security technologies in ecommerce website development and deployment is required. The ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with management, peers and team, and the ability to work toward deadlines is critical. A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or Management Information Systems, or equivalent related experience is required. RESPONSIBILITIES This fast-paced position entails utilizing the components of the Vacation Storebuilder platform and its cloud-hosted environment for the end-to-end deployment of web stores, including the following:
  • Measure deployment performance and document improvements for: time and cost efficiencies, security, scalability, speed, usability, etc.
  • Process and verify web store contracts to set deployment schedule and launch date, organize assets and coordinate web store kick-off meetings
  • Manage a deployment team and be able to work hands-on with the team to:
    • Create and manage the online marketing toolkit setup, including content optimization, SEO, social media integration, navigation structure, blog, landing pages, promotions, and any other online marketing setup requirements
    • Setup and customize web store designs from VSB's site design library
    • Setup and apply VSB's system settings for domain names, SSLs, emails, payment processors, property management systems, Google Analytics, social media platforms, and any/all other necessary third-party integrations
    • Collect, organize, import and optimize media and content using VSB's content and media management console
    • Coordinate with online marketing specialists and copy writers to brand, position, and optimize web stores, and setup all applicable online marketing tools including setup related to search engine optimization, social media marketing/sharing, email marketing, and search engine marketing
    • Coordinate and perform complete web store testing, including accuracy and optimization of all content and media, integrity of all links, verification of all web store functionalities (search, emails, booking flow, etc), and ability for the web store to perform all actions necessary to initiate and complete secure and accurate online bookings through the booking engine as well as facilitate offline bookings over the phone
  • Support ongoing web store management and maintenance
  • Work with product development team to help document and test new functionalities, enhancements, as well as document and report defects and issues
  • Create and maintain documentation and logs of the deployment process
  • Train other personnel, clients and partners on use of the VSB Platform via static documentation, as well as live and recorded screen walkthroughs
  • Provide reporting of web store performance for clients, online marketing team and billing
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Technology, Website Development/Design, Communications, or equivalent experience
  • 4 years' experience as a webmaster and/or experience launching multiple eCommerce sites, preferably for travel / hospitality / vacation rental
  • Understanding of online marketing , including SEO and Social Media
  • Experience coordinating and/or supervising teams for incremental task-oriented work
  • Experience with content management systems
  • Solid working knowledge of standard web technologies, such as HTML and CSS
  • Knowledge of Photoshop and creating/editing images for the Web (flash experience is a plus)

BUSINESS DEVELPOMENT MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Business Development Manager will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing and will develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve Vacation Storebuilder's sales targets, identify new business opportunities, nurture leads, and manage prospect relationships. He/she will build and maintain relationships based on integrity with potential and existing clients, and will sell with a consultative approach to help potential customers find specific ways to grow their businesses. The Business Development Manager will take lead role in ensuring needs and requirements critical to client's success, and make sure client's needs are communicated and managed throughout the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Harness online marketing strategies, telephone sales and communication skills, and industry-specific expertise.
  • Assist in generating awareness and qualified leads
  • Prepare, present and develop proposals.
  • Leverage social networks to enhance campaign performance and nurture current prospects.
  • Serve as a thought leader and share ideas by helping to create content for VSB's blogs, resource center and community.
  • Attend and fully participate in industry conventions and trade shows.
  • Monitor competitive activity and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the vacation rental industry and the vacation ownership industry to help maintain Vacation Storebuilder's competitive advantage.
  • Manage and implement lead generation initiatives where appropriate and to liaise with the Marketing team.
  • Provide and present weekly activity reports, monthly statistics and sales performance reports.
  • Maintain all daily sales activity in Salesforce.
  • Maintain and develop honest and professional operating practice in accordance with policies.
REQUIREMENTS
  • BS or BA in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of relevant sales experience
  • Vacation Rental, Vacation Ownership or Internet Marketing experience required.
  • Confident sales professional with strong, quantifiable business development success.

LEAD GENERATION SPECIALIST

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing and located in Chicago, the Lead Generation Specialist position is a research and communications position and performs prospecting functions for Vacation Storebuilder and utilizes professional communication skills, research and interviewing skills, as well as marketing and sales skills. The Lead Generation Specialist (LGS) researches and qualifies vacation companies across the US and communicates with professionals about their business needs and initiatives. They identify who the most appropriate decision maker is in the company (usually a director, owner, VP or even C-Level) by speaking with multiple company representatives. The Lead Generation Specialist will also be responsible for documenting the result of each lead, updating the database, typing clear and concise notes and distributing the qualified leads to the appropriate members of the sales team. There are also meetings for the LGS to attend and actively participate in such as client meetings (usually via conference call), team meetings and company meetings.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospects from your own prospecting activities and incoming leads.
  • Regularly update Major Account Reps with campaign activity and prospect information/feedback.
  • Use phone, email and other sales & marketing campaigns to contact target prospect base to gauge their interest in engaging in discussion regarding our Client Partners solution.
  • Maintain a record of all prospect activity within CRM.
  • Create viable sales opportunities in CRM for the Major Accounts Rep's to follow up on.
  • Update CRM with all relevant account and contact information.
  • Manage the 800# and website inquiries and insure they are handed off to the proper sales channel.

B2B MARKETING SPECIALIST

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing and located in Chicago, the B2B Marketing Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Vacation Storebuilder marketing team to develop and produce professional communications and marketing materials. The B2B Marketing Specialist will be responsible for driving eMarketing campaigns to existing customers and managing marketing activities such as tradeshows, travel, meetings and lead generation activity. A key contributor to the Vacation Storebuilder marketing activities, he/she will assist with the production, communication and distribution of marketing collateral.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist is production, communication and distribution of marketing materials.
  • Assist in creation and distribution of marketing activities, which may include direct mail campaigns, e-blasts, print ads, banner ads, search engine marketing and social networks.
  • Utilize measurement tools to mine data and analyze results in order to refresh campaigns for maximum optimization.
  • Work with manager to develop vertical press strategy and write press releases and pitch briefs.
  • Coordinate trade shows, travel, meetings and webinars.
  • Develop and coordinate case studies and customer feedback surveys.
  • Track and report ROI from all integrated marketing activities.
  • Contribute strong copywriting and editing skills for a variety of print materials.
REQUIREMENTS
